 WWE Smackdown is conducting Backlash this year on September 11th 2016 at Richmond Coliseum, Ricmond, Virginia. Richmond Coliseum is one of the biggest indoor club in Virginia. Shane McMahon and Daniel Braine had announced a brand new championships in WWE they are WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship and WWE Smackdown Women's Championship. Backlash is the one of the prestigious event for all the WWE Superstars who are participating in Backlash 2016.

On 30th September 2016 in Smackdown this tournament matches had started between all the 8 tag team matches. The First match in this tournament is  Breezango Vs American Alpha. In his match Valority had won the match. And the Second match in this tournament is The Ascensions VS The Usos in this match Usos had won the match and they are qualified for semi finals with American Alpha.

         Third match in this tournament is between The Hype Bros vs The Vaudevillains in this match The Hype Bros had won. Last match in this Tournament is between Heath Slater and Rhyno VS The Headbangers. Before this tournament starting Heath Slater is not  got any contract from Raw and Smackdown. But at last Daniel Braine had given him a chance that if he gets a tag partner then he is eligible for this WWE Smackdown Tag team Championship, then Heath Slater said I will be ready and I will come with a tag team partner and at last he got Rhino as his tag team partner and they won the match against The Headbangers. The
And Shane McMahon had also announced another championship that is WWE Smackdown Women's Championship. This match will be a six-pack challenge match between 6 WWE Smackdown Divas and they are.

This year Backlash is conducted at Richmond Coliseum at Richmond, Virginia. Richmond Coliseum is one of the largest indoor club in US States. In Richmond Coliseum many large concerts were held and the attendance in Richmond Coliseum will be around 13,500. As September 11th 2016 is Sunday all the tickets had been sold out.

In this match The Miz had won the match against Apollo Crews and holds Intercontinental Championship. After this match The Miz thought that know no one can challenge him for WWE Intercontinental Championship. But Shane McMahon and Daniel Braine had given a break to The Miz in this Backlash that he had a match with Dolph Ziggler for WWE Intercontinental Championship. First The Miz did not accepted the challenge but when Dolph entered the ring and there was a small fight between them so The Miz had accepted the Challenge.


But in Summerslam 2016, there was an other match between Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose for WWE World Championship. In this match Dean Ambrose had defeated Dolph Ziggler and holds WWE World Championship. after summerslam 2016 Dolph Ziggler had got an opportunity to participate in Backlash for WWE World championship. The opportunity was Shane McMahon had announced a match for Dolph Ziggler VS AJ Styles and he said that if Dolph wins the match then their will be a Thriple Treat match in Backlash for WWE World champion but unfortunately Dolph had lost that match.

So he got an other Opportunity to challenge The Miz for Intercontinental Championship in Backlash 2016. On 30th August 2016 in Smackdown The Miz had for WWE Intercontinental Championship. So we have to wait till September 2016 for this match.

 WWE Backlash is the min event in Smack Down. Backlash is held only for WWE Smackdown players. This is the first year that Smackdown Live is conducting Backlash. Backlash 2016 is on September 11th 2016. Backlash is Organised by WWE at Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. Brands for Backlash is only Smackdown Live and KFC are the sponsors for this year Backlash 2016. Richmond Coliseum is used for large and big Concerts. Around 13,500 members can attend. This is the biggest n Smackdown Live because this is the event which Raw is not participated. Only Smackdown members are participated in this Backlash 2016.

Dolph Ziggler had tried his best in Summerslam against Dean Ambrose but last Dean Ambrose had won the match.
